“Meep” is an informal word that some people with ME/CFS (pwME) may use to refer to themselves. It’s a portmanteau, or blending, of the words “ME” and “peep.” The word “meep” can be plural (“meeps”) or elongated (“meeple”).
ME/CFS means Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Here’s a page on the CDC’s website where you can learn more about ME/CFS.
Hi! I’m Ashe.
I’ve had post-viral (post-mono) ME/CFS since 2004, when I was 22.
I have big ideas for this website, including building a collection of links to online ME/CFS resources — but you know how things go with this illness, so we’ll see how it comes together. 🤞🏻 In the meantime, if you want to connect with me, I’ll be on social media posting about life with ME/CFS.
Keep living/surviving, darling meeps! Keep hanging in there.
